TPO32_Task2
Nowadays, people of the society have a vital role in making their country's future. Although most of the important decisions are made by politicians directly, individuals have a key role to select their president due to attention to his thoughts and cultural beliefs. Whereas some people believe that young people today don't have any influence on these important decisions which relates to the future of society, I am of the opinion that young generation can affect these decision through several ways. In what follows, I will cogently pinpoint my most conspicuous reasons to justify my point of view.
To begin with, as other members of the society, young people have the right to vote to select their ideal president and ministers. By doing so, their voice will be counted, and they can affect the important decisions of society by selecting the one whose ideas is near to them. To illustrate, in my country in year 2014, young people were not satisfied from decisions made by last president, who made lots of financial problems. Young people joined to take part in election, and they voted to better president for next four years.
Another equally significant point is that young generation are technophile. They can have influence on most of the decisions by using social media which is a vital technology today. By using social media they can prevent some decision to be made, or make politicians to do something they want, because of the large number of viewers and feedbacks. As the usage of social media grows, young people can express their opinion more effectively and make others to take in their ideas. What happened in our university is a compelling example to clarify this. The politicians decided to take money from students who are studying for more than four years in bachelor for per extra term. Students used kind of social media named Twitter, they made a campaign and asked other students to join. They argued that some courses are taught just once a year and they can't register at the appropriate time because the capacity of the class is not enough. As a result, the chancellors canceled the law.
All in all, when it comes to comparison, I believe that young generation can affect important decisions which form the future of the country by using their right of vote. Moreover, they use updated social media applications, and can impress others.
