The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat
in a European country between 1979 and 2004
The line graph compares the total consumption of meat (beef, lamb, chicken, fish) taken by the European country during the 25 years. Overall, the European prefer to consume chicken rather than the other kinds of meats.
As we can see, in the year 1979, the beef consumption was the highest source of meat preferred by the European about 210 grams per week, followed by lamb, chicken, and fish around 150, 148, and 55 grams respectively. From 1984 to 2004, the total of consuming chicken increased significantly and ended up at 250 grams per week per person. It was noticeable that the fish was less preferred in the first up to last year, and the amount of fish taken went down steadily until it stood under 50 grams in 2004.
On the other hand, the two kinds of meat, beef and lamb, fluctuated and dropped dramatically in 2004 to around 105 and 55 grams per week sequentially.
To sum up, amongst the year 1979 – 2004, the European increased their consumption on chicken, while the fish was reasonably stable after the year 1979 till 1997.

Thank you sir.. By the way,
Thank you sir.. By the way, I'm not quite sure about your comment above.. If you don't mind my asking, I have three questions about that:
Sentence: Overall, the European prefer to consume chicken rather than the other kinds of meats.
Description: An adjective is not usually followed by a verb, base: uninflected present, imperative or infinitive
Suggestion: Refer to European and prefer
1. I used the word "European" as a noun, I mean "the people who live in Europe". Is that incorrect?
2. An adjective is not usually followed by a verb. I didn't get what you mean, could you explain me a bit about this?
3. base: uninflected present. It seems I got a new jargon. I searched on Google, but I didn't find any reference. May you explain me briefly about this?
Thanks
It should be: the Europeans
It should be:
