If substances in the floating converters leak into the ocean, it will cause negative consequence. The final point made by the lecturer is that the floating converters would be bad influence on the scenery. It is obvious that the floating converters are painted with bright red which means they can be easily spotted on beaches. This is differ form the passage's view that wave farms is.
