Given is the diagram providing a comparison of consumption of fish and meat in a particular European country during 1979-2004.
A glance at the graph reveals that, although great fluctuations were observed the curve for beef consumption ranked first till 1989 and was marginally ahead of other lines. Nevertheless this curve showed an upward trend and had dramatically decreased from approximately 200 to 100 grams for the period of 1989-2004.
