You took your family to a nearby restaurant. You were disappointed with the meal and wish to complain to the manager.
Write a letter to the manager of the restaurant. In the letter:
» explain why you were at the restaurant
» describe the problems
» write about the action you want the manager to take
Dear Mr. Brown,
I am writing this letter to bring a few inconveniences, which we faced when we dined at your restaurant yesterday, to your notice. We chose the Indira Nagar branch of your chain of hotels to celebrate the first brithday of my daughter. However, it turned out to be a nightmare, because of many faults of the staff of the hotel.
Foremost, we ordered afternoon lunch for about twenty people, but we were provided food for only fifteen members. Moreover, the quality and taste of the rice used was not up to the expectation. Adding to this, sweets, which were promised, were not severed. Furthermore, the staff were rude, when we questioned those improper arrangements.
On the whole, this bad experience has left us dumbstruck and greatly disappointed. Hence, we request you to take appropriate action against the people in charge of the branch. It would be even better, if you could provide us a compensation either as a discount on the bill or as vouchers.
I am looking forward to your prompt response.
Yours sincerely,
Janani.
