Writing Task 1
The first line graph illustrates the usage of the water all over the world between 1900 and 2000, whereas, the table demonstrates the consumption of the water in two different countries namely, Brazil and Congo in 2000. It is immediately apparent that usage of water in the agriculture was remained higher throughout the period.
To begin with, in 1900, the water used by agriculture was 500 km3. The consumption of water in agriculture gradually increased between 1900 and 195 and then significantly inclined between 1995 and 2000, from 1000 to 3000 km3. While the other two categories such as industrial and domestic were remained less than 10 km3 from 1900 to 1950. Industrial increased less than half to agriculture all over the period. The usage of water in domestic was not insignificant at, 300km3.
On the other hand the table described the water consumption in Brazil and Congo. Consumption of water in Brazil was higher at, 176 million whereas, the Congo used water at 5.2 million which was very less amount of water usage compare to Brazil.
