the graph shows the oil production capacity in 6 countries between 1990 and 2010.
The bar chart illustrates how many millions of barrels per day oil were produced and their changes in 6 countries throughout a 20-year period from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, It is obvious that there were upward trends in oil production of all 6 nations, particularly the most significant increase can be seen in Saudi Arabia. Another interesting point is that the amount of oil produced was the highest in Saudi Arabia and the lowest in Qatar over the period in question.
In 1990, the amount of oil produced in Saudi Arabia was over 8 million of barrels per day. This was followed by a steady rise, reaching a peak of over 14 million of barrels per day. By contrast, only a half million of barrels per day were produced in Qatar in 1990, then the figure almost remained stable at the end of the period after a marginal increase in 2000.
Looking at the oil production in the other countries, there was a slight increase. In 1990, the figure in Iraq started at about 3 million of barrels per day compared to around 2 million of barrels per day in the other three countries. The amount of oil produced in the UAE did not see a rise in 2000 like the others but the figure peaked at over 4 million of barrels per day in Iran and at almost 4 million of barrels per day in Iraq, Kuwait and the UAE.
