The mentioned line graph reflects average carbon dioxide (co2) released per person in four different countries namely the united kingdom, Sweden, Italy and Portugal in between 1967 and 2007.
Overall, the highest amount of CO2 is emitted by the British people whereas the Portuguese people threw comparatively low amount of CO2 during the period of 40 years.
It is clear from the line graph that the British citizens were the most responsible to release CO2 in the year 1967 with a figure of nearly 10 metric tonnes which was then gradually declined upto the year 2007.Likewise, the Swedish contributed around 9 metric tonnes in the year 1967 which was then sharply increased upto 11 metric tonnes in the year 1977.Then, after a decade there was a downfall of 4 metric tonnes from 11 to 7 metric tonnes. And, finally there was a slight decline in the emission of co2 upto the year 2007.
Furthermore, it can be noticed that the Italian people threw CO2 approximately 5 metric tonnes in the year 1967. After that, there was a sharp increase upto the year 1997.However, there was a stability maintained between the year 1997 and 2007.Similarly, it can also be clearly noticed that the Portuguese people emitted relatively less amount of CO2 which was accounted for only 1 metric tonne in the year 1967.After wards, it slightly increased upto the year 2007 and had a figure of 5 metric tonnes.
