The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.
The charts show how an island has been modified with the establishment of new infrastructures dedicated to tourism.
In origin, the island only had three green areas, which has survived at the intervention of man and are now close to the houses for guests. The central building is the reception office, between the two groups of dwellings, in front of the only restaurant available on the island. To provide a connection to every building, a footpath and a vehicle track were newly marked.
The roads lead to a natural beach, already present, and to a pier, constructed to make the island reachable from the sea and to offer boats activities for the tourists. From the smaller group of accomodations, there is the path for the beach, which is now used for swimming in the sea.
In conclusion, the geography of the island has undoubtedly changed, but thanks to the impact of man on the environment kept at the minimum, the island is now a great resort for travellers who want to experience island's life.
