Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they cast doubt on specific points made reading passage.
In the set of materials, both the reading passage and lecture discuss about the two possible explanations to decline in a coastal ecosystem when some sea otter populations off the Alaskan coast. However, the both author’s and lecturer have differents opinions about this point.
First of all, the reading passage claims that pollution seemed the more likely cause, such as oil rigs and other sources of industrial chemical pollution along the Alaskan coast. Even though, the lecturer affirms that was not really find industrial chemical in a Alaskan coast, so this are not a consistent point about the pollution factor.
In the second place, the reading pourpose that otters was affecting other sea mammals as well, like predators, such as the orca could have the same effect. However, the lecturer says that probably easy orca decline too.
Third and last,the reading passage affirm that at some Alasckan locatoins the otter populations declined greatly, while at others they remained stable. Even though, the lecture refute this afirmation saying that It is a bad explication by orca predators, because the number of orca decline considerable, because orca It so large mammals.
