The given tabular chart highlights the information about the four different schools: Specialist, grammar, voluntary-controlled schools and Community schools, which were attended by students over the period of 2000 till 2009. The data is calibrated in per centum.
It can be seen that in the year 2000, specialist schools were attended by 12% of children whereas, grammar schools had been attended by double the number of children from specialist schools. In addition to this, there was decline in the percentage of children who took part in specialist schools by 1% in upcoming two years: 2005 and 2009. Moreover, number of students who had attended grammar school in the two years: 2005 and 2009 were 19% and 12% respectively.
Moving further, 52% of children in the year 2000 had took part in voluntary-controlled schools following with, 38% in the year 2005 and 20% in the year 2009. Apart from this, there was incline in the popularity of community schools as participation of students had been risen by 20% from 2000 to 2005 and peak value of students attended it in the year 2009 which was 58.
Overall, it is evident that in the initial years voluntary controlled market was more popular among children but in upcoming year community schools had overcome voluntary controlled market.
