You have a full-time job and are also doing a part time evening course. You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your tutor. In your letter,
• describe the situation
• explain why you cannot continue at this time
say what action you would like to take.
Dear Sir,
I am John, student of Database training course in your institution. I am writing this to post you updated, that I will not be able to continue the part-time course from next month.
I am working as a full-time employee in an Audit company and taking up the course in your institute after my office hours. Recently, I got promoted and my office demands more of my time. Besides, we have some strict deadlines ahead and to meet them, I need to stretch and work for extra hours for few months.
All these new roles and responsibilities force me to pause this course for time being. Anyways, I will get used to my new roles in coming 3 months. However, I would like to complete this course after few months as it will be beneficial for my career.
Therefore, I humbly request you to allow me to attend the same training along with the next batch which is going to start after 3 months. This will be very helpful for me to manage my office work and to continue my course on the other hand.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours Sincerely,
John
