The graph illustrates number of enquiries received via in person, by letter/email, or by telephone from January to June 2011 by the Tourist Information Office of a city.
Overall, the mode of inquiries which displaced a dramatic increase was in person. While inquiries received through telephone rose, inquiries received by letter/email decreased.
The number of enquiries received in person leaped from slightly above 400 in January to about 1900 in the month of June. Although, the enquiries received via telephone also increased, there were flunctuations experienced between February and March, even displaying a steady state from March to April with a drastic change from 1000 in April to 1400 in May and further increasing to almost 1600 in June.
It appears though the use of letter/email as a mode of enquiry experienced slight flunctuation from less than 800 in January to almost 700 in March, with a steady fall upto May, after which a static state was achieved of somewhat below 400.
