The diagram opposite shows how a thermos flask works.
A breakdown of some parts of thermos flask and how it works is presented in a picture.
Clearly, thermos flask has outer and inner parts relating and supporting each other with a simple design. The main function of this equipment is to support the hot water having stable temperature for some hours.
The height of thermos flask is 30 to 40 cm and the structure is divided into some parts. It starts from the cup made of plastic, and this cup can be used for drink. Right below this part, there is a plastic cap to keep the water spilled out, and it allows some heat released. The upper part of the bottle with slender shape or called the neck bottle is also covered by a light material such as plastic and metal as well as the outer case.
Turning to the inside part, the vacuüm flask shields the hot liquid in a silvered glass. The glass is an insulator with poor conductor and has less infrared radiation. The lower part is an insulated support maintaining the temperature of the hot water stable within several hours.
