The diagram shows how geothermal energy is used to produce electricity.
The diagram illustrates the process of generating electricity by using geothermal energy. overall, electricity production has five stages.
The stored cold water is pumped down to a depth of 4.5 km to the injection well as a first step. Then, this water surpasses the geothermal zone, which is surrounded with hot bricks to convert cold water in to hot water before reaching into the production well.
In the next stage, we can see that, the hot water is pumped into a condenser, located on the ground, where steam is generated. This steam, finally makes the turbine to rotate in a circular motion, thus electricity is being produced and stored in the generator in last stage. Last but not least, towers has been distributed tis electricity to the various parts.
