You live in a room in college which you share with another student.
However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it
very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter
describe the situation
explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
say what kind of accommodation you would prefer.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to bring to your attention the problem I am currently facing with my room-mate.
my name is Massie Williams and I live in room 23, block B in Trump hostel. The situation is that the student I share the room with like always come with his friends and party all night. they play their music on a high tempo, they scream and dance around every corner of the room.
this is affecting my study and my grades are dropping drastically. As a result of the constant parties, i find it very difficult to study. The noise from the music couple with the fact that they throughout the night has made it impossible to concentrate on learning; this showed on the recently concluded test as my score plummeted.
I would prefer a single room occupancy with no room-mate. A single size room furnished with bed, chair and a small desk, preferably in the hostel next to the student union government building.
I looking forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Yours faithfully,
Massie williams
