Dear Sir Manager,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to request for an assistance in retrieving the important documents that I left in your hotel.
On the 18th of May, we, from the J & R Co. had our quarterly meeting and utilized one of your function rooms at the 2nd floor. Just before the program ended, my manager requested for me to deliver a speech and make a toast. I remembered placing a black purse at the registration table near the entrance but forgot to pick it up before I left.
I have in that bag, a couple of signed contracts as well as some tickets for our company vacation this weekend. Apart from that, I also have my cellular phone in it. Your hotel is just a 30 minute drive from my house, and I would appreciate it if you can leave the purse at your reception desk, so that I can pick it up on Friday morning.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Joyce Smith
