After which the consumption of butter plunged to a low of about 50 grams. Likewise, that of margarine fluctuated at somewhere between 80 and 100 grams prior to 1991. In 1991, it remained relatively stable of 100 before dropping dramatically to 40 grams.

On the other hand, the expenditure of low fat and reduced only started at approximately 10 grams in 1996 and then reached a high of marginally above 80 grams in 2001.
