Dear John,
Hope you are doing well in your new job. I am writing in connection to the recent news which is viral around the globe of the boy, 5 years old, who fell in a hole, 200 feet deep, dug for water extraction survived in the hole for 72 hours. I know that you work in a news channel and covering this story.
I am a big fan of your reporting and watch at least once in a day your channel. This boy has really made the world pray for him for his survival in the burrow. The Indian government is really doing a good job by digging another tunnel much bigger in size to save the boy. The boy is being given the oxygen and food through pipe. Even I could not leave the live update of the news as the boy is very small. The presentation of the news is exemplary and the way you have requested for the grant from the government is appreciable. The parents of the boy are well taken care of and consoled.
Although, I will be live with the news till the boy comes out of the tunnel but please keep me posted with latest updates on the news as I have a meeting in the afternoon. Also, make a plan of meeting up at my place.
Warm regards
Megha
