City council is planing to pull down one of the historic buildings in your town because they do not have funds to renovate it. As a citizen you don't want it to happen. Write a letter to a city council and say
What is the importance of the building?
Why should it be renovated?
Suggest a plan to raise funds and maintain the building in future.
Dear Sir,
I am writing with regard to the news that I read about the Krishna temple in the National Daily today. In the article, it has been mentioned that the ancient monument, as per the plans of the council, is going to be dismantled soon which has drawn a much wider attention of the public of which I am also one concerned member.
Firstly, I would like to highlight how important this temple has been for the Nepalese community. This elaborate age-old temple stands as a reminder of our rich cultural heritage and no society which has an admiration for these sublime cultural marvel would allow it to disappear. Moreover, the most fascinating fact about this temple is that it was carved out of a single rock and serves as a living example of our profound and glorious civilization.
As for the solution to preserve this beautiful gem, the council can coordinate with the federal government and the tourism ministry to seek financial assistance from the UN for its renovation works. In my knowledge, Part of UNESCO's mission is to conserve and promote cultural heritage and I take hope in the fact that they will be willing to offer help.
I hope you will appreciate my ideas.
<span style="font-size: 19.36px;"> </span><span style="font-size: 19.36px;">I look forward to your reply.</span>
Yours faithfully,
Ram
