The chart below shows the number of girls per 100 boys enrolled in different levels of school education.
The plotted chart illustrates that the number of girls from developed and developing countries enrolled in three different levels of school education as compared to 100 boys in the year 1990 and 1998.
In general, the females from developed nations were noticeably higher for taking admission in all the categories in contrast to females from developing nations in the given period. However, the figures regarding the girls from developed countries in the category of tertiary education had only achieved the target line in all bifurcated categories.
As can be seen from the graph, the highest number of girls from developed region admitted for tertiary education in all which was about 105 in 1990 and 112 in 1998 as opposed to only 66 and 75 from developing the region in respective years. In case of secondary education, the figure was 72 and 82 for the girls of the progressive nations in 1990 and 1998 respectively whereas the average 99 girls who enrolled in the secondary school in that period which was remarkably higher.
Looking at the figures related to primary education, the same trend can be observed where averaged 96 girls from developed countries enrolled in school in comparison with 83 and 87 girls from progressive nations in 1990 and 1968 respectively. Moreover, the strength had slightly risen in all the aspects in 1998 compared to 1990.
