Overall, it is clear that sodium and saturated fat are the majority of nutrients in dinner while the largest proportion of added sugar consumed is snacks.
In dinner dishes, 43% of sodium and over a third of saturated fat but only 23% of added sugar are consumed. Similarly, the proportion of sodium and saturated fat are 29% and almost a fifth respectively while the occupied of added sugar in lunch just 19%.
The percentage of sodium in breakfast meals is the least popular, about 14%, compared to 16% of saturated fat and added sugar respectively. The most popular in the proportion of added sugar consumed is in snacks meals, with 42%, while 14% and 21% are the figures for sodium and saturated fat in snacks dishes.
