Dear Sir/Madam,
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter with reference to the news article in Hindustan Times dated 24th September stating that your department is deciding to close the sports and leisure centre in our society. I would like to express my views on the necessity of having the sports centre and benefits it provides to the people of our community.
I along with my family and friends spend most of our time after office hours in the leisure centre. We utilise our quality time paying plethora indoor and outdoor sports, for instance table tennis, cricket, badminton and so on. After all it not only relieves us from the daily stress but also helps us to keep physically and mentally fit and healthy.
The sports and leisure centre is of utmost importance for each member and every member to our society because of its formation it has brought innumerable benefit for the older as well as for the younger generation. Many of the Senior citizens can be seen jogging during the morning and evening hours, moreover, they have formed a jogger’s group. The young children and teenagers have regular fitness activities 7 days a week by the centre’s children fitness section followed by yoga session for younger ones and parents
If particular this centre is closed, it will have a tremendously negative impact on the residents. Without any physical exercise and activities, the society will face severe health issues such as obesity, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetic problems. Furthermore, Children will spend most of their time playing video games and watching television which will affect their eyesight and cognitive development. Conditional sentences
I hope you will take my views into consideration and make a decision that will benefit the people of our society.
Yours sincerely,
Prabhpreet Kaur
