The bar chart provides information about what percentage of people who are 25-34 year old residences housed within a decade of 2004 and 2014. According to the bar chart the highest rate was seen in 2001 in which nearly 60 percent of people, aged 25-34, housed while the renters made up 20 percent. The lowest point seen period was the last part of the decade, 2014, that the number of owners were 35 percent whilst the number of renters peaked to the top of almost 50 percent.
In comparison, the count of home owners illustrates that it had remained stable in almost half of the decade from 2004 to 2009. In contrast, renters numbers increased significantly from 20 to 30 percent by the 2009. In the rest of the period the number of home owners decreased considerably from 60 to 45 percent. At this point renters represented the highest point of 45 percent.
To sum up, observing the bar chart, it is easily apperant that people preferred to rent a house rather than to buy one.
Overall, although at the beginning of the ten-year period 60 percent people were housed by 2004, it collapsed from 60 percent to 35 percent. This is most probably due to extortinate prices of houses.
