The line graph gives information about changes in the percentage of household access to CD player, mobile phone, home computer and Internet access over a period of 7 years, from 1996 to 2003
It is clear from the graph that the trends were upward over the period shown.
As can be seen from the figure, the Internet had a late starting point in 1998 and was the lowest percentage compared to the other figures; however, it experienced the most significant change with fourfold increase, from 10% to over 40% in 2003.
In comparison with other forms of modern technology, CD player had the highest figure which almost doubled the percentage of the Internet access, at around 80% in the end of period. There is a steady growth in home computer and nearly reached 60% but it was not higher than the Mobile phone data. The percentage of using mobile phones witnessed fluctuations during the given time but it followed the positive direction which ended the period with the second rank, approximately 70%.
