You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter
- say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
- explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
- suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her
Dear Terrence,
How many year we haven’t written to each other? Its great to connect with you. I hope you and your family are all in good health.
So you are not sure what step to take next. Don’t worry I know what`s best form you. As we are gone trough school since we were young I noticed that you really do not enjoy reading and writing. better be mind of that because in college you have go trough to lot of material. Much better solution would be to get a job instead, because you need to save some money for that rock concert where we will go next summer. therefore I did recommend you to my friend from music shop. he is keen to meet you therefore the spot at the drum section is booked form you. he already knows about your drum and base addiction.
Warm Wishes Dennis
