My name is Kiranjot Kaur, I am a student from India. Thank you so much for allowing me to stay with your family while I complete my English program. My program is going to start in second week of September and I will be in London for a few months.
The basic concern of writing this letter is I am having certain queries. Firstly, I would like to know what kind of weather is prevailing over there so that I can bring appropriate clothes? Either it is still cold or warm? Secondly, I would like to know about the transport facility, whether I will get on public transport for my course work or have to rent a car? How distant it is from your house?
I am leaving from India on 5th September and will be there on 6th September around 9:00 pm. I have booked a taxi in advance from the airport to your home.
