Overall, it is clearly seen, that the population of India rose gradually and will continue this trend. In contrast, China's population will reach a peak in the middle of the interval.
In 2000, the figures for India stood at 1 billion. Then it sharply increased up until now. According to the given predictions, the population of India will be about 1.45 billion in 2030 that will overtake the number of citizens of China. Then it will continue to experience a moderate growth, hitting the top of 1.6 billion in 2050.
Meanwhile, the data for China was around 1.25 billion at the beginning of the period. Similarly to India, the quantity of people in China rose significantly in the first half of the provided interval. However, in oppose to the first country, the population of China will plateau in 2025 at approximately 1.45 billion. Then, after 2035 there will be a slight fall in the number of citizens of this county.
