You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or try to get a job.You think he/she should get a job. Write a letter to this friend. In your letter:
say why she/he would not enjoy going to college.
explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her
Dear Sarah
Hope you are doing well. I recieved your letter asking for my opinion to choose between joining college or to work. I gave a lot of thought to this matter and I would suggest that you start a job rather than getting enrolled in a college.
Since you have recently completed an interior designing course from a world renowned institution. You should utilize your fresh learning and knowledge and develop your skillset in practical environment. The regular college routine; studying along with doing assignments and assessments consumes all your attention and time. This would frustrate you as you will have to keep you love for desiginign on hold.
Since you have moved out from your parents home and living independently, therefore you have to support yourself financiall. I would encourage you to get a job and establish yourself in the line of interior designing.
As you told me that you got a call for an internship oppurtunity in one of America's top designer firm. I would support the idea of joining it. this will give you the experience and and a chance to learn the business skills to run a firm of your own in the future. besides, if you still want to get a degree you can opt for weekend classes, as many colleges are offering weekend graduation programmes.
I look forward to hearing from you soon and would love to get a chance to visit the firm. I have heard a lot about there amazingly beautiful interior setup.
Yours truly,
Aqsa
