Bar graph and line diagram
The given bar graph illustrates about UAE's expenses towards Health and Education with respect to its % of GDP in 1985, 1990 and 1993. The another line diagram depicts life expectancy and mortality rate of infants per 1000 birth in between years 1970 and 1992.
Firstly, as from bar graph, UAE increased its expenditure from 1985 to 1993. To begin with, in 1985 UAE spent only 10% on education and expenditure on health is also near to it almost 8%. In the next five years UAE became more focused on education, when they spent little over 14% of GDP on education, whilst the health became less focused in the eyes of UAE and they only spent 7% on health. The year 1993 was the best of all these because the amount had reached to almost 15% of GDP for education spent by UAE and the health expenditure also had risen to 10%.
Secondly, as the years passed from 1970 to 1992 life expectancy rose by 10 years, to be precise 60 to 70 years. Moreover, another line declines very drastically, which is the number of infant that were dying per 1000 births. In 1970, 70 infants were mortal out of 1000, however it reduced to only 20 mortal infants out of 1000 in 1992.
Overall, as the expenditure on health and education increased in following years, life expectancy had increased, whilst infant mortality had decreased.
