Starting with 200 million dirhams, the amount of gold which was sold kept increase and reached a peak of 350 million dirhams in March. There was a significant decline in the growth of gold sales from April to June, and it continued to decrease to 160 million dirhams in the first month of the third quarter.
In August, the gold sales witnessed a recovery to above 200 million dirhams before it hit a bottom at 160 million dirhams in September, sharing similarity to itself in July ( 160 million dirhams ). The gold sales slightly climbed to 180 million dirhams in October and stayed unchanged for the last two months of the year.
