Overall, the total number of tourists visiting the Caribbean island is increasing yearly from 2010 to 2017. Around 3.5million tourists have visited the island by the end of 2017.
Mainly there are two ways by which the tourists visit the island. Some visitors stay on cruise ships where as few stay on the island.Let's discuss briefly about them.Firstly, the number of people staying on the cruise ships were under 0.5million in 2010. Later, it drastically changed the value to 2 million by the end of 2017. From 2013 the number of people started opting to stay on cruise ships, in this way there was a hike in the number.
The second category of people we find is staying on the island.At the start the number was under 1million, later in the mids of 2013 the number of tourists staying on the island started increasing. By the end of 2017 the number rose to 2million.
Adding to it, when we talk about the total count, it was around 3.5 million tourists who have visitied the island by the end of 2017.
