The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The line chart illustrates how many enquiries were sent monthly to the Tourist Information Office in a city from January to June of 2011.
It can clearly be seen that communication options changed dramatically over these 6 months, with the number of in-person meetings skyrocketing, whereas that of telephone calls as well as enquiries sent via letter and email gradually increased and decreased, respectively.
In January, using the phone was the most popular option, with approximately 900 calls received by the Tourist Information Office, while face-to-face meetings were the least chosen method. However, during the six-month period, preference in personal appointments climbed up the chart to 1900 meetings in June. In the meantime, the number of people phoning the office witnessed a slight drop in February, followed by a plateau in March and April, and continued to go up within the next 2 months.
Sending a letter to the Tourist Information Office was never the most common option out of the three, and it proceeded to slowly drop every month. In January, nearly 800 physical and electronic letters were sent, and that figure had shrunk to about 400 by June.
