The pie charts illustrate the proportion of main reasons why adolescence living in one African nation use their phone from 2016 to 2019.
Overall, in four years, the most significant reasons were social networks and email, which together accounted for over two-third of causes, while digital camera and phone calls generated the least amount of grounds for usage of phone in the African country. In all types of reasons, there was only slightly change over the 4 year period.
Causes by social networks comprised of 50% in the first year and this showed only a minimal increase of about a 6% to 56% in 2019. Likewise, in 2016, digital camera generated 15% which rose gradually to 20% 4 years later.
With regards to the remaining grounds of using phone, the percentage of digital camera and phone calls decreased throughout the years. There was an approximately 5% reduction in digital camera and phone calls to 19% and 5% respectively.
