The graphs below show current rates of secondary and higher education among people in various parts of the world.
The graphs provided the proportion of males and females in secondary and higher education in Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), Latin America and East Asia.
At the first glance, the percentages of both genders in Europe takes first place in Secondary and Higher education, while the bottom place is witnessed in SSA and the moderate rates are observed in Latin America and East Asia for both sexes.
In greater detail, the figures of girls in three of the four regions are more than boys, except SSA. In Europe, one hundred percent and ninety percent for females and males respectively, while the rates of girls in SSA is twenty percent, more than double of boys. What stand out is the same proportion of men in Latin America and women in East Asia stand at forty - two percent, whereas almost fifty percent for Latin America women and East Asia men.
Conversely, the rates of males receive tertiary education are more than females in all regions except Europe, with three percent less in males. Despite that, the rates of both sexes in Europe are still in the first place at forty - five percent for men and nearly fifty percent for women while these figures for SSA is noted the bottom place at twenty and twenty-two percent. Also noteworthy is the fact that the levels of boys in Latin America are more than one-third of girls whereas the approximate rate of men in East Asia, twenty-seven percent, and women, twenty-five percent.
