Given are two graphs concerning the word water resources issue. While the former pie chart reveals the distribution of water and freshwater the latter table indicates the figure of the water usage in three distinct nations namely Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Canada.
In terms of the pie chart, it is noteworthy that an overwhelming majority of the resources belong to salt water with precisely 97%. At odds with this, fresh water constitutes a negligible minority of 3%. Interestingly, with regard to the freshwater, it is made up of three diverging components. The water ice and glaciers that are included in the fresh water take up the most remarkable proportion with accurately 79%, leaving the remaining shares at 20% and 10% for ground and surface water respectively.
Regarding the bar chart, the homogenous picture was witnessed in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Both classifications topped the list in the percentage of agriculture at roughly 80%, followed by domestic water with well over 10%. Meanwhile, the utilization of water in industry made up by the least significant number with around 10% in both countries. On the contrary, in Canada, while industry is water-intensive with merely 80%, the figure of agriculture and domestic are in the 10’s.
