To commence with, photosynthesis utilizes the energy from the sunlight to generate organic carbon for plants. This source of carbon along with animal organisms and waste products are absorbed by the ground surface when those decay. Likewise, root respiration outcome, gathering with those sources, after a long time, turn into fossils and fossil fuels and is taken in by ocean
On the other hand, carbon is also released back into the atmosphere through various means. One is when animals and plants respire, and another is when humans burn fossil fuels in cars and factories. All this carbon dioxide is reabsorbed by plants and remains cycle continuity.
