The graph shows the number of visitors to four international museums between 1980 and 2015.
The provided line graph depicts the number of people visiting four international museums including Hermitage, Egyptian Museum, Tokyo National Museum and National Museum of Anthropology from 1980 to 2015.
Generally, in the period of 35 years while the figure of Tokyo National Museum experienced a stable increase, that of the other notably fluctuated. Besides, Egyptian and Tokyo National Museum received more visitors than National Museum of Anthropology and Hermitage.
As the chart is concerned, from 1980 to 2000, four categories underwent an unstable period, except for Tokyo National Museum, which always accelerated steadily (from over 4000 to nearly 8000 visitors). For the first 5 years, Egyptian Museum, Hermitage and National Museum of Anthropology witnessed three distinctive trends, which are marginal rise, gradual decline and stability, respectively. Nonetheless, for the next ten years only National Museum of Anthropology showed an abrupt decrease (by about half of its figures in 1985), while the other two remained their trend. In contrast, in the period from 1995 to 2000 Egyptian Museum was the only one to change its tendency (diminished to about 8000 visitors). 2000 and the remaining years saw a steady trend in the number of four museums. Whereas National Museum of Anthropology had a slight fall, the others escalated, especially Tokyo National Museum, which experienced the highest climb (from 7000 to nearly 1000000)
