The diagram illustrates the production of ethanol fuel from corn.
In general, the process undergoes a variety of stages beginning with the storage of grain and ending with the delivery.
At the first step of the process, the corn is harvested and kept in a storage house before being milled into the powder. Next, this powder is cooked with a suitable temperature, and then it is liquefied. After the liquefaction stage, this substance is fermented and continues to be distilled carefully in order to separate fuel ethanol from solids.
Once the distillation stage ends, fuel ethanol is stored in large tanks for a period of time before being transported to the fuel market. Meanwhile, after being purified, wet distillers grain is dried in a specialized machine to ensure that it become dry distillers grain. Finally, it is ready to be delivered to the feed market.
