Increase of the sea level during the last decades.
The lecture talks about sea levels increasing , nowadays there are two positions about this topic. On one side we have people who tell us that there is nothing to worry about, according to the article the increase of the sea levels is a normal process, some of us may think that the reason for this to happen is the ice melting but they explained that even NASA does not know the reason for the water increase, it just happens and it’s being happening for ever. In conclusion for these people we should not worry about the water increase because humanity will survive it now just like they did it before. On the other hand, we have the posture of people who tell us that the water increase is a real problem and if we don’t do anything about it we will lose at least 20% of the earth's land, which is really scary. According to the studies these people refer to human activities such as the burning of fossils as the reason for this to happen. If humans would not have burned the fossils, the ice that covers frozen lands would have stayed there, but now it is in the sea. They explained that if we don’t stop, the consequences will be awful for humanity. In conclusion for these people, humans are responsible for the water raising and as the responsible one we have to take actions in order to mitigate this problem. The truth is that even if we take responsibility or not for the water levels increasing we shouldn’t just ignore it because it is happening.
