This given table chart indicates the expenditure of consumers in different categories, namely Food/ Drinks/ Tobacca, Clothing/ Footwear and Leisure/ Education over the span of 2002 in five separate nations including Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey.
Overall, Food/ Drinks/ Tobacca was the most dominant field of the total in the provided year, whilst Leisure/ Education had an opposite pattern. More specifically, Turkey accounted for the highest figure for the dominant field. Similarly, Italy and Turkey was two highest- ranking countries making up a great deal of percentage in the rest of fields, Clothing/ Footwear and Leisure/ Education respectively.
Looking at the table in more detail, when it comes to Food/ Drinks/ Tobacca, Turkey represented approximately 32,14%, followed by Ireland, at 28,91% while the figures were 18,8% , 16,36% and 15,77%, namely in Spain, Italy and Sweden.
In addition, in terms of Clothing/ Footwear, Italy was shown to be standing out, with the figure being 9%. Meanwhile, the rest represented nearly 5-6%. In latter case, the proportion in Turkey was nearly 4,35%, just being eight times as much as the most dominant category. This was followed by Sweden, at almost 3,22% and the others fluctuate over 1-3%.
