The bar chart illustrates several important living issues faced by the residents of seven major UK cities [Glasgow, Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester, Glasgow, and London] in 2008. Units are given in percentage.
Overall, issues related to health services proved to be the most important in almost all major cities, which is followed very closely by education and training. Meanwhile, list worrisome of all the issues was air pollution. Which is almost five times lesser to the residents of all metropolitan cities.
Regarding health services, out of seven cities six cities residents stated it is their primary living issue. Which is above 50% of all the three combined problems. Except in Glasgow where it is just under 50%. Education and training is very much close to health services problem, by approximately 10% difference between them. With the exemption of Glasgow [53%] and London [52%] whom it had become the most troublesome problem to the inhabitants.
With respect to air pollution, out of all major cities only Manchester [16%], London [14%] and Cardiff [12%], which indicates more than 10% of their residents shown concerned. Furthermore Newcastle city recorded only 5% residents stated this as an issue.
