Overall, travelling abroad for Japanese were popular year-to-year. Furthermore, Australia was more and more well-known among Japanese, although the number of them showed some changes.
Initially, Japanese was less likely to visit other countries, showing about only 5 million people, being the lowest number. Turning to the tourist market of Australia, this nation earned share from 2% of Japanese travel, being the minumum data recorded.
Eventually, the popularity of Japanese visiting increased dramatically to more than threefold, being the highest number. When it comes to Australia, even though the figure for Japanese travelling in this nation experienced a downward trend in 1889, it had recovered to be three times of the figure in the initial year by 1994, indicating to gain the most amount of income.
