The given diagram describes the manufacturing process of chocolate
Overall, it is evident that the ripe red pods undergo the series of steps to produce chocolate.
In the first step, the farmers living in South America and Indonesia collect the ripe red pods on the cacao trees and havest the white cacao beans inside. After being havested, they are fermented by using the banana leaves. In the fouth step, beans, which were passed through the fermentation step, are dried under the high temperature of sun before being put in large sacks. The products are delivered to the factory by train or lorry. In the factory, the results of previous steps are roasted at 350 degree of temperature, then being crushed and removed the outer shell by machine. The final step is pressing the inner part of crushed roasted beans to produce the liquid chocolate. This liquid form can be used to make other forms of chocolate.
In conclusion, the red ripe pods on cacao trees undergo 10 steps to transform into chocolate.
