Overall It can be seen that earlier the dimension, as well as the weight of the cell phones, were more compared to the recent models.
Firstly, Cell phones in the early days of their invention were very bulky and at the same time, the weight was also more. The dimensions were around 130mm in height and 50mm in width with 50grams of weight. Moreover, the functions provided were not that advanced in the beginning, It has a simple black and white screen with an earphone above the screen. With that, It also has a keyboard for typing and the main center button for selecting a variety of functions.
On the other hand, the contemporary mobile phone was an upgraded version of the latter one and included all the new technologies at that time. It used to offer a full-color display with an earphone; also, the size of the cell was reduced to 90mm in height and 40mm in width. Whereas, the main update are as follows, Internet connection, E-mails, music player, multi-player games with added functions.
