In general, it can be seen that the amount of money used to advertise in 2004 is slightly higher than in 2003. Another noticeable is that there is no striking change in the ranking of six different sectors which needed advertising campaign.
It can be seen that local newspapers received the highest billions of dollars for advertising, 22 billion dollars and 24 billion dollars respectively between 2003 and 2004. On the contrary, Network radio spent the least budget for promoting, only 1 billion annually between 2003 and 2004. While magazines and Network TV spent almost the same amount of money, national newspapers and local radio spent less than 10 billion dollars.
There was no change in top4 ranking sectors between 2003 and 2004 when the Automotive remained top 1, followed by retail. Financial Services changes its position from top 6 to top 5, taking place of food and beverages which drop to 6th place.
