The given table provides the comparison of the number of waste production among six different countries which measured in millions of tonnes from 1980 to 2000.
Overall, it is conspicuous that US always hosted the highest rank during 20 years whereas the reverse pattern was occurred in Ireland over these years. Moreover, it can be seen that all countries had experienced the upward trend over 20-year period except Korea.
According to the supplied data in 1980 and 1990, US came at the first country which had the highest number of waste production, with 131 and 151 million of tonnes respectively. Following that was Japan, which produce waste accounted for 28 millions of tonnes and increased by 4 millions of tonnes in 1990 which more than 7 times when compared with Poland. Subsequently, Ireland came at the least countries in the table in 1980, with the given number is 0.6 million of tonnes and not available in 1990.
Moving to the table in 2000, there are an increase the number of waste production in US from 151 in 1990 to 192 in 2000. Next is Japan, which the number had increased from 32 millions of tonnes to 53 million of tonnes after 10-year period. The waste production in Portugal, Poland, Ireland had witnessed the increase in these number after 20-year period. However, there was an decrease in the number of waste production in Korea, which was 31 millions of tonnes in 1990 and fell by 12 millions of tonnes in 2000.
