I am on the side that sports and social activities are just as important as classes and libraries, and they should receive equal financial support. I feel this way for two reasons, and I will explore in the following essay.

To begin with, many universities provide the excellent academic programs for students. As for students, these courses are same for them. How a university can fully demonstrate their characteristics and be distinguished from other competitors? A strong sport team in a school can build a solid reputation for recruiting students.

Second, as I illustrated in the first paragraph, it is critical that the regular exercise and social activities can help us enhance the physical fitness and our mood. The pace of modern life is getting faster and sometimes there is stress from every aspect, that's why keeping our mental health in a normal condition is important.
