You live in a room in college which you share with another student.
However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it
very difficult to work.
Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter,
• describe the situation
• explain your problems and why it is difficult to work
• say what kind of accommodation you would prefer
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a student studying in Final year of engineering in Computer department and a resident of your hostel (Flat 204). Currently, we are two students staying in the room. I have been moved to this room from January 2022, but I am facing lot of problems with this allotment and it is in a way impacting my studies.
Being a final year student, I am supposed to work on projects, assignments and my internship job as well. And, since my room partner is into Art department, he is involved in Singing and dancing activities. So, during his free time he practices playing musical instruments, singing and dancing on loud music. Due to all these reasons, it has been extremely hard for me to concentrate on my studies.
I request you to please help me with the change in my accommodation. I would be happy if you consider my request and look for someone who is co-operative and studying in my department. Since, they might have work schedule similar to mine and we can manage our activities together.
Looking forward for a positive response from your end.
Yours Sincerely,
Raj Madan.
