The bar chart below gives information about vehicle ownership in China.
The given bar graph provides a comparison of mass car ownership in China over 12-year period.
From an overall perspective, it is conspicuous that the volume of people using their own vehicle for transportation had experienced an upward trend and witnessed the dramatical upsurge after 12 years.
According to the data in the beginning year, the amount of people had their own car were merely 250 thousand people and made a twofold jump after 2 years. Although the number of personal vehicles was substantial raise to nearly 900 thousand people in 1991, its number remained same position during 2 years after that. Subsequently, the volume of Chinese vehicle ownership was roughly more than 2 times when compared with the two previous year, with the recorded volume was 2000 thousand of people.
Moving to the remaining year, the number of personal vehicle witnessed an intensive growth from 1995 to 1997, with increase by 1000 thousand people. Consequently, the recorded number reached peak in 1999, with the recorded volume accounted for more than 4000 thousand of people. It is obvious that the period from 1987 to 1999 saw an upsurge in the number of under 500 to more than 4000 thousand Chinese people had their own car.
